Westminster College’s 24-hour Giving Day Exceeds Goals
Mar 8, 2018
SALT LAKE CITY – Every little bit counts. Gifts to support students of $10, $20 and upwards of $5k challenge grants all added up in a single day to a whopping $53,745 – an 18% increase from last year. The generous showing was proof that Westminster’s community is truly “all in,” the theme for the college’s fourth annual giving day held on March 7, 2018. The $53,745 raised will support students and outstanding academic programs at Westminster.
Westminster president, Stephen Morgan, challenged everyone to give what they could and share on social media why they are “all in” for Westminster during the 24-hour giving campaign. “All In” headquarters filled the Bassis Center for Student Learning with volunteers, donors, prizes, food and cheering. There was plenty to celebrate.

“Our Westminster community pulled together on a grand scale yesterday to support our students,” said Annalisa Holcombe, vice president and chief advancement officer at Westminster. “Thank you to our alumni, faculty, staff, parents and even current students who donated, volunteered and were all in for Westminster College. We take pride in our student-centered culture and our giving day results are evidence of that culture in action.”
