Westminster College Diversity Center: Mission

The Diversity Center recognizes diversity as an educational benefit and equity as vital to our campus. Through programming and student support, our goal is to foster learning and personal development through critical engagement and reflection on issues of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, class, and ability in an effort to prepare all students for life after graduation. Furthermore, the Center recognizes that educational inequities exist and works to support marginalized groups of people in the US: people of color, women, and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) as well as students from low-income backgrounds and a variety of religious and cultural backgrounds.
